Hi, my name is Chrissy and I blog over at Whimsical Poppysmic! 2.5 years
ago we, the hubby,the kiddo and I plus pup, moved from Germany to the States!
That's where the blog name comes from!
Last September I started my little blog and it has
grown so much over the past months, it is truly amazing!
I have always been a crafter, knitter and lover of all
things whimsical! The creativity of all of the amazing bloggers out there
inspired me to get crafty again as well! And it was so much fun, that I decided
to open my very own Etsy shop, Whimsical Poppysmic in December
2010! And it is so much fun!

Bliss Ripple is the creative evidence left by the hot pursuit
of living a life of passionate honesty. Comprised of the musings, moments, and art of
me, Maggie A. Bishop, Bliss Ripple is the resounding assertion that when one
engages in living a life of following deep soul happiness that joy will echo
throughout the earth. Lives are changed, dreams are recognized, and through
saying yes to one’s own dreams permission is granted to many others to do
exactly the same.
Bliss Ripple is a simple, yet powerful revolution, an idea
that came to me as I sat in the sun one day with my son, and greatest teacher,
Arlo. I deeply realized that to take personal responsibility for my own
happiness would do nothing less than change the world for the better. So my
study of bliss consciously began, with this quote by Joseph Campbell leading me,
“The way to find out about happiness is to keep your mind on those moments
when you feel most happy. When you are really happy— not just
excited, not just thrilled, but deeply happy. This requires a little bit of
self-analysis. What is it that makes you happy? Stay with it, no matter
what people tell you. This is what is called following your
bliss.”
My pursuit and
immersion in bliss has led me to recognize my soul’s passion for travel, music,
writing/ art and mindful conscious living with my partner and dream confidant
Josh (who is a photographer and music promoter) and our wonder son Arlo. Our
journey has us dreaming and stepping toward a life on the road, filled with
ecological adventure and myriads of melody. You can join in on our adventures of
