i've been trying to cut down the amount of caffeine i consume... even though i don't drink coffee in the afternoons, i'm sure the copious amounts i drink in the mornings and all the cups of tea are contirbuting to my insomnia.
i've been trying out a few new recipes the past week, and here are three of my favourites
cherry and banana smoothie
blend together a large handful of cherries {stoned} and a banana, with a half a cup of apple juice
pineapple mint juice
blend one pineapple with three or four mint leaves, serve over plenty of crushed ice
minty apple iced tea
brew three peppermint tea bags in two cups of boiling water, leave for 10 minutes. leave to cool, then mix with 500ml apple juice. serve over ice and garnish with some apple slices.
banana, apple and yogurt smoothie
blend one banana, one apple {cored and diced} a spoonful of plain yogurt and a splash of apple juice.
I think I'm going to try the banana, apple and yogurt smoothie!!! It looks and sounds so yummy!!!

I always start and end my day with a smoothie. Try this one: almond milk (homemade if possible) strawberries, banana, hemp seed and almond butter. That's my favorite!
