phew... so glad it's the weekend! i've been a busy bee this week, lots of orders shipped out and new stock made! this is the last weekend to take advantage of the buy one pair, get a pair free on all earrings in my shop! working out at $6 a pair now's the time to stock up for christmas gifts!

yesterday i started a deep clean//declutter of my house. the energy was feeling a little off, and i felt it was time to get rid of that we no longer needed and have a good old clean. i have a smudge stick waiting to be used once i've finished sorting out the house. moving around, reorganizing  decluttering - always clears the vibes and makes me feel good ;)

i'm hoping to be finished by the time we go away this week - then i can come home to a fresh home :) i'm also really looking forward to this :

so happy to wake up to some sunshine this morning, it's been much missed all week. there has been SO much rain here. it's pretty chilly out but the sunshine makes up for that! the big kiddos and their dad have gone off on a brownie trip for the day, so it's just baya and i. it's not often i get time with just my littlest so we're making the most of it. we going on a cinema date this morning and treating ourselves to some yummy ice-cream ;)

i was lucky enough to win a giveawy on moon to moon a couple weeks back, and my prize arrived this week - this amazing pouffe from beyond marrakech

it's even more gorgeous in real life - so thrilled to have won! definetly my favourite thing i've ever won

least i hope there's going to be some sunshine!! we're off camping for a couple days today.... fingers crossed we don't get flooded out ha! i'm so glad to be going away, i've been super busy the past few weeks i'm in desperate need of a couple days off. i've been finishing off getting our homeschool plans and projects in place {i have a post about that next week!}, plus doing some work for a new blog project i'm involved in! i'm in the middle of making some new stock for my shop as well as for a couple of outlets here.

on top of all that i've sorted and decluttered my house... it started when i was reorganising the home school stuff and art supplies... i felt the urge to keep going and boy does it feel good to rid the house of some clutter! so it was very timely that i was offered some of ecover's new zero range to test out. we're already ecover fans in this house, but the new range has been specially crafted to for people who want a fragrance free allergy-approved. perfect for sensitive skin, the zero core range is dermatologically tested and approved by allergy uk.

we got sent some laundry liquid, fabric conditioner, washing up liquid, a tea towel and dishcloth in a cloth tote. i was interested to try out the laundry liquid and fabric conditioner, as lola and i have very sensitive skin, and i usually stick to washing balls as opposed to any liquids/powders - as most irritate our skin. we tried it out over a few washes, and so far so good! i washed our bedding in it which was the biggest test as we're laid on the sheets for hours at a time. but it looks like it hasn't irritated us at all - great news!!

happy saturday guys! the weeks seem to be flying by! it's been another busy  [but fun} week... we've just gotten back from lola's drama class, planning a lazy weekend now. some baking, some making and a picnic for a friends daughters 2nd birthday tomorrow. i've been working on next years homeschool - mapping out some of what we want to study and getting things together. i'm planning a post on our homeschooling journey soon - if you have any questions leave a comment or email me at pixiemama@live.co.uk

the sun is shining and we're getting ready for a big bbq - i love having a garden full of friends. one of the best parts of summer, long afternoons catching up, some delicious barbecued food, evenings around the firepit with a few guitars. all this sun has made me feel great - i love sunny days when we can be outside the whole time :)

saturday whizzed round again fast this week! it's been a busy but fun week. we've caught up with friends, and enjoyed a couple days out. we released the butterfly's except from one little fella who can't fly, every time he tries he ends up on his back :( so we're looking after him in the butterfly net still! i can see some heartbroken girlies when he leaves us.

despite the rain this week we took a couple of nature walks and found a beautiful bird egg, and some more feathers for our collection. 

we were also lucky enough to be gifted a climbing frame this week. the girls were so excited as their daddy was building it! our woods are slowly turning into our own private playground {complete with bunnies hopping around}

i'm getting caught up on some housework this morning, then we're off for a community picnic this afternoon! fingers crossed the sun keeps shining! hope you all have fun plans for your weekends xxx

it's a long weekend here in the uk for the queens jubillee. i'm looking forward to relaxing and enjoying some time with family. yesterday was a stressful day trying to sort out some coding issues on here and the kiddos were all in foul moods too :( today is full of drama lessons, history classes and swimming at the end of the day. fingers crossed it doesn't rain tomorrow as we're off to a viking living history day :)

so happy to actually see some sunshine today! i was late up this morning, i must have slept through my alarm {I don't normally set one, but today we had to get kiki out for her rainbow trip and we are not morning people!} thankfully the kitten snuck upstairs and woke me up just in time! lola started a new drama/dance group today so it was just baya and i. it's not often i get a few hours with one kiddo, baya and i had a great time together. we got coffee and cakes {well, only coffee for mama!} and sat in the park soaking up the sunshine. we followed this with an hour in the playpark. it was one we haven't been to for ages and baya had a blast! oh, the joy of a new park :)

we fitted in a little gardening and some crafting this afternoon, now it's almost time to go pick kiki back up. i've made some necklaces and notebooks to go in the party bags for lola's party next week, and made my own flower loom {will be blogging that this week}

tonight i need to put the finishing touches to the dolls clothes i've made for lolas birthday blythe doll [man, those teeny poppers take so long to sew on} - i'm hoping to get some wrapping done tomorrow as the girls have friends round to play and will {hopefully} be distracted!

happy saturday you lovely people! i hope that the sun is shining wherever you are! so far it's sunny here :) it's been a rainy week, so it's much appreciated plus we're off to a friends 30th birthday BBQ this afternoon. looking forward to relaxing and catching up with some friends. we've had a busy week, lots of fun, friends and lots of work. i'm in the middle of lising the new items above in my shop today.

i'm finally feeling a little more human, after a couple of days struck down with a stomach flu. thankfully the littlest two kiddos have been fine, as has the mr - just miss lola and i who've been sick. two days on the sofa and we're starting to get over it. it's hard being ill and still having kiddos to look after - they've been fantastic and have let me rest lots. still - we all have a bit of cabin fever now - we're off to catch some bands this afternoon, there's been a little music festival on here the past few days, i got a free wristband but have been too ill to see anything so far :(

the best thing about being ill {if there is one}?? being forced to slow down. normally we're rushing from one thing to the next, i'm juggling my many roles - mama, wife, blogger, small business owner, crafter, home schooler, etc that there is no time to just 'be'. i'm going to rearrange my priorites a little and make time to just be, to do nothing but have fun and enjoy the moment. the last couple of days have shown me that the world will not end if things don't get done straight away!
