home tour: bathroom

i'm full of cold right now, my chest is feeling tight this morning, and i'm praying it's not going to turn into a chest infection. i'm barely ever sick, but in the past few years the few times i have been ill it's started as a cold and then turned into a chest infection :) i'm trying to take it easy, and give my body lots of rest {but i'm not too good at not doing much!}

i've been busy working on another blog design this week, and getting ready for miss baya's third birthday on friday - where have the past three years gone?!

i thought i'd share a few more peeks into my home today - this time our bathroom. it's pretty tiny, but since i painted it a cheerful yellow last year it's a nice space! i love the mirror by the bath - i love laying in a hot bath with the window wide open :) plus we have a pub next door who often have live bands - many a night i've laid in the bath, window open listening to the music!! bliss.

home tour: craft room

i thought i'd share a quick peek inside where i work today. our house is pretty small, especially with five of us in here all  the time! i'm lucky enough to have a little nook of the living room to call my own. it's the perfect space to create and to dream. everything i need is on hand, and i have plenty of inspiration around me. it's my favourite place to spend time.

 thought i'd share a quick peek inside my bedroom :) it's a cosy little room, the sun rises through our window so i get woken up to pretty sunshine (if i'm lucky!) i love the view out of the window - i can see down to our woods, and watch the birds and the squirrels in a morning!

the crochet throw on our bed i picked up for £2 at a charity shop - total bargain! and the giant mirror is perfect for getting dressed/doing hair and make up in. the accoustic guitar is ancient - it's taken some battering! There are as many guitars in our house as people... and if the girls are hoping father christmas will bring them more.

our bedroom is so peaceful - i love to curl up in bed in an evening, read a book or watch a dvd on the laptop. i just wish i got to spend longer in bed ;)

A sneaky peak around my kitchen....it's only little, but thankfully there's plenty of storage, and the windows look out over my garden and woods - perfect for keeping an eye on my kiddos :)
