a little redesign...

i ended up spending a couple hours last night redesigning my blog and shop {again} i wanted a look that was a little more cohesive throughout both. i'm pretty happy with what i came up with, what do you think???

i plan on getting new business cards to match as well as packaging for my shop! speaking of which - the next sale will be number 200 - and as a HUGE thankyou that lucky sale will receive some extra goodies!!! hop on over and treat yourself ;)

this morning we're taking a ride out of town, lola's history group is at a heritage centre just out of town, we're hoping the weather will stay nice enough for a picnic while we're there! hope you all have fun plans for your weekend.

snail mail love & a shop update

happy saturday lovely folks!! i hope you're all having/have had a fab day. we spent the afternoon at a kiddo party - i got to catch up with some friends i haven't seen for a long time, plus i got to meet one friends newest daughter :) the kiddos had a blast, and we've come home with some of the parma violet flavoured cake :D

the girls are now sat in front of the tv, watching rio. which gave me a little time to catch up a few online jobs i needed to do. i'm in the middle of a shop update, below are some of the items coming - some are already listed, some still waiting. {don't forget the 25% off discount is still on while i restock!}

i've spent most of this evening working on a shop makeover - it's almost finished.... pop over and see how it's looking!

earlier in the week i recieved a parcel from my lovely friend ashlie. i gave her blog a facelift a couple weeks back, and she sent me a portrait she did of me in return {as well as the cutest little fox pin also!}

 

 

isn't she amazing?! i just need to get the portrait framed and hung ♥

monday morning never seems so bad when the sun is shining {and you've had a great sunny weekend!} - plus knowing it's my birthday this week kinda helps ;p

seriously - the weather here was fantastic this weekend. saturday i did some spring cleaning {as well as a crazy amount of laundry} the doors and windows were all wide open - so nice to have some fresh air round the house. we had a bbq dinner also, after kiki's little friend had gone home. days spent outside are just so perfect - i wish we had this weather all year round.

let the unexpected happen

life has a funny ol' way of working out. when you give up worrying about everything, when you live in the moment, do the things you love, and just be, things happen just the way they should. let go of all you think you want/need and what you really need will come into your life. 

its 6pm now, and this is the first time i've sat down since 10am :0 no wonder i'm so tired! i spent the better part of the day cleaning and tidying this house. the last couple of weeks have been hectic - and that means that my house was begining to resemble a bombsite. thankfully now it's pretty much under control, tidy house tidy mind ;) plus i got coerced into rearranging kiki and baya's bedroom. i will admit it looks better for a move around, there's a bit more floor space to play and i managed to clear out some junk at hte same time!

i'm planning on a relaxing evening on the sofa {after the kiddos are in bed and i've worked out that is}

i've been working on a couple of blog designs for some lovely ladies this week. first up was kelly from bird in a tree creations. we reworked her existing header and created a pretty blog design around it. 

and then this morning i finished and installed a brand new look {and name} for Nora @ Better Together

also - today i have a guest post over on Living Apockylypse with a fun diy for a pretty ribbon garland and the super lovely Kate at Wake Up, Lovely has an interview with me today and you could win $20 credit to my shop!
