hope you're all having a good friday - i'm glad it's almost the weekend. it's been a busy week {again} but a good one too. i've been busy shipping lots of orders, and making some more stock. also planning a few new lines that will come to the shop probably after christmas. we've family coming in tonight for a few hours for a pre-christmas visit. i spent last night wrapping gifts - looks like i'm almost finished shopping! just need a few extra's for my mr - he's not easy to shop for!! any manly suggestions?!

tomorrow we're planning on putting the christmas decorations up and hoping to head up to a christmas market on sunday {and the kiddos might visit santa in grotto.

easy chocolate truffles >>>>

the kiddos and i made these for my open house last sunday. they are so easy to make and taste amazing! they didn't last very long ;)

ingredients:

200g cream cheese

350g icing sugar

500g chocolate, melted {we used milk, but you can use plain or white}

1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

* beat the cream cheese until it's softened, add in the icing sugar. stir in the melted chocolate and vanilla. refrigerate for around an hour. shape into small balls, then roll them in cocoa powder, icing sugar, crushed nuts, etc

you can also switch up the vanilla for a flavoured liqueur such as coffee or orange if you like!

there's been a little bit of full moon madness going on around here. for some reason, i never connect the two until after i've gotten super stressed. my emotions have been running crazy the past couple days, paired with a bout of insomnia, i've been a bit of a wreck. i finally gave myself the ok to feel this way yesterday, permission to sink into it, to not fight my feelings. somehow giving myself that permission always makes the difference. to acknowledge that my feelings are valid and to listen to them seems to allow me to work through and past them.

i'm tired this morning after another sleepless night, but feeling a little calmer - and excited for our friends who just had their first baby. i cannot wait for some snuggles!!

this past weekend was so blessed. thank you to each and every one of you who bought from my shop over the black friday//cyber monday sales. and a huge thanks to those who came and supported me at my open house. i think i'm just about caught up on orders. the shop got a mini-facelift yesterday. i have big plans brewing for my shop. i'm excited to fill in leonie's business planner and work towards my goals!

can we talk about this vest for a minute?! it was a bargain find over the summer at a car-boot sale. i think it cost me all of fifty pence. it's so snuggle, and my girls give me extra cuddles when i wear it. bonus! these boots are literally falling to pieces... i love these kinda boots but i wreck them in weeks. the headband was a gift from ada, i love how it matches my new hair perfectly! her shop is full of beautiful, handknit items - i especially love the owl cozies ;)

i could just about live in this dress//skirt. i love the print so much, you can't really see from the photos, but there are little sequins all over it also. i love how versatile it is, it works as a dress, as a skirt, over jeans... it's a great 'go-to' piece.

it looks like a lovely autumn day - you just can't see the light rain that was falling! it's been raining pretty much all week, i'm crossing my fingers it's dry at the weekend so we can have the fire we're planning. there's something soothing about sitting around our firepit. this moon cycle is kicking my ass a little, i feel like i'm on a constant catch up and a little off centre {moondaughter shared some affirmations for this waxing moon here}

i've been working all week to get ready for the first of my open house events {selling my jewelry in person}- if any of you are local i'd love for you to pop by! see here for more info or drop me an email. i'm almost all set - i think my kiddos have plans on doing a little baking for it too!

this evening the girls and i are planning on making a countdown paper chain {one chain for each day till christmas, the idea is to tear one off each day}, elf is going on the tv and we have hot chocolate, squirty cream and mini marshmallows :)
